Global Environmental Challenges and Security (online course)

The course is organized online by the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management.

Aim

This course appears to focus on addressing contemporary global environmental issues through an interdisciplinary approach, with a particular emphasis on adult education principles (andragogy) and security considerations. The primary aim is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various environmental challenges and their interconnections while also enhancing their language skills and proficiency in using information technology.

Through studying a wide range of topics, students are expected to develop critical thinking skills, deepen their understanding of complex environmental issues, and explore potential solutions from both academic and practical perspectives. Additionally, by integrating language skills development and IT usage into the course, students are better equipped to communicate effectively and utilize technology for research, analysis, and presentation of findings related to environmental challenges and solutions.
