Digital Entrepreneurship in Tourism

The course is organized on-site by the Faculty of Management and Economics.

Annotation

This course is designed for master’s degree-level students interested in exploring the intersection of digital technology and entrepreneurship in the tourism industry.

Course objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Understand the concept of digital entrepreneurship in the context of the tourism industry and its importance for business growth.
  2. Identify and evaluate digital opportunities in the tourism sector.
  3. Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for tourism businesses.

Course Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify and exploit digital opportunities in the tourism industry.
  2. Develop and implement a digital entrepreneurship plan for a tourism business.
  3. Design and execute digital marketing campaigns tailored to the tourism sector.

*Students will be required to complete a group project that involves developing a digital entrepreneurship plan for a tourism business, which will be assessed as part of the final exam.
